All students have to obey quite a lot of house rules, such as: paying attention to our lessons, doing the homework, arriving on time, etc. Sometimes, these rules are boring and we have to make a real effort to obey them.

School coexistence teaches conduct and attitudes that are reproduced during a lifetime. In fact, we learn to solve specific problems with other classmates and sometimes with our teachers. It can be really easy if we can remember this rule: "Always treat all others as you´d like to others be treated yourself" or, in other words: "Don´t do to others what you would not like them to do to you".

There are quite a lot of activities to prevent conflicts at Cruz de Piedra School, for example: we learn the rules of the classroom and revise our rights and duties. Also, we do some activities in special days, such as: "Peace day" or "Day of children´s rights". It is important because we realize that not all the children have the same rights. Usually we choose a significant person to commemorate "Peace day". This year we studied about Malala Yousafzai´s life. Malala is the youngest person who has received the Nobel Peace Prize" cat age 17-.She was a Pakistani student. When Taliban arrived to her city, they denied girls" education but, Malala didn´t give up and carried on attending to her school, and also, she began blogging for the BBC about her experiences under Taliban. Because of that, she was shot in the head. Fortunately, she didn´t die and was transferred to a hospital in UK where she could get well.

We are still moved by her speech: "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen, can change the world".
